Who is john aniston dating
The "Horrible Bosses" actress and Theroux started dating in May 2011 after filming the Judd Apatow-produced big screen comedy "Wanderlust," in which their characters shared a flaky fling.
Theroux popped the question on his 41st birthday, his rep said in a statement to The News.
"John did know about the engagement but did not know when we would go public with it, so when he was caught off guard on the phone, he didn’t want to be tricked, so he pretended not to know,” Aniston’s publicist told The News.
“They are very happy together, it’s working really well and they’re only getting closer.” A month later in August, pals were whistling a dramatically different tune when Aniston and Mayer called it quits.
“They had a great time together but they are just in different places in their lives right now,” said a source.
While Aniston remained mum about the split, Mayer held an impromptu press conference outside his gym in New York, explaining to the media: “I ended a relationship to be alone because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right.” For her part, Aniston understood Mayer’s rant: “He had to put that out there that he broke up with me,” she told in December.
Her soap star dad improvised complete shock late Sunday when a reporter reached him for comment on news she accepted a marriage proposal from her boyfriend of 15 months Justin Theroux, Aniston’s rep told the Daily News.

The Celebuzz quotes sparked a flurry of reports that not only had Theroux bypassed the tradition of asking for fatherly permission but that the Emmy-winning “Friends” actress was content to let a complete stranger break the nuptial news to a loved one.
